The importance of travel..

To travel is to visit your innermost entity all round the globe magically. Travel refreshens the mind, it teaches us several lessons in History, making us not only aware of the heritage of the world, but also a part of our own personality. To savor the dishes of other countries, their fragrances and aromas and to internalize a little bit of each heavenly place into our own selves gradually. Traveling on piligrimafes is even more soul satisfying. Your deity and you become lovers even as you take in all the heritage places that belong to him and his enormity. The most famous and exhilarating Hindu pilfgrimages are dedicated to the Char Dham deities of Shiv, Vishnu, the rivers Ganga and Yamuna- these are places that any devout pilgrim must add to his travel itinerary.

Most Shaivaites would die to go to the abode of Shiv and Parvati, namely the Kailash Manasarovar pilgrimage that China has usurped most unlawfully. There are several temples dedicated to various Gods and Goddesses all over the country- the Meenakshi Temple, the temple to Balaji Vishnu, the abodes of sage Adi Sankara at Ernakulam and the Mutts all over the nation, the various temples dedicated to goddess Durga in West Bengal and the Mumbadevi Temple right in the center of the city of Mumbai.

Religious travel is especially rewarding if you are a believer, but there are a lot of places that are also atheist friendly. They will satisfy your inner thirst of Epicurean proportions also luckily. Traveling is not only meant for the lucky few millionaires and billionaires spread across the country, but just like some Hippies and solo global travelers, traveling can also become low cost and affordable fortunately.  

Traveling is really nourishing for the soul- it is even more rewarding if you have a companion with you, but I like to enjoy all my special religious moments singularly. Traveling can rid you of loneliness and boredom practically wholly. Traveling is a really thriving industry with several hoteliers, camp arrangers and tourists flocking all kinds of travel and tour destinations in the thousands most arduously.  

 If you want to travel to foreign locations, you can do that also fortunately. But as far as meaningful destinations are concerned, there is nothing like India quite honestly.
