After the EU and India issued a joint agreement for some trade and business industries, everyone in India was really concerned about how those would affect the India-US trade ties particularly. Indians everywhere were really afraid that the US would ban their products into and from India after India started importing Russian oil when the 2 countries of Russia and Ukraine were at war recently. But things have taken over a positive turn now and America has agreed to a joint venture between the 2 thriving giant countries officially.
The US and India have jointly passed a trade pact that amounts to around 500 billion dollars from the year 2026 onwards rapidly. Most of India’s contributions will be in the fields of solar energy and other sustainable energy industries. But the US President has stayed the reduced number of H1B visas offered to Indian workers unfortunately, thereby reducing the annual deficit of India by some millions of rupees. Our Union Ministers have tried their level best to push their farmers’ deals between both the primarily agro-industrial countries. India has offered to buy around 500 billion dollars’ worth of American goods and services like some products and goods of energy, aircraft, technology and precious metals and other prominent and mutually profitable industries.
Both sides have agreed to reduce the tariffs and sanctions, some other taxes and cost prices of several goods and services across both countries commonly. India has offered to allow America to sell some American goods and purchases devoid of any duties and taxes entirely.
Some US tariffs on India have been reduced to 18% and the country has access to around 30 trillion dollars of market interest propelling India onto the G2 global index space rather speedily.
India will now have direct access to American bikes and cars, many American food items and lots of other textile, oil and spice industries dually.
Both the pharma and medico industries have also benefited from the bilateral trade deal exponentially. The trade pact between the 2 countries has ensured that China doesn’t bully India any longer and that the ISIS and IS parties stop directing their bombers and disruptors to cross over to the Indian side and trade in the countries’ banned goods and products especially the narcotics and trafficking industries.
