Many people feel that they themselves are their own enemies blaming themselves for their sad predicaments, but rather on the contrary, it is a sad truism that there are many external agencies that are detrimental to us and we can do nothing about them ever so sadly.
What to do if the people you are interacting with are your born enemies. So, my stupid neighbor falls into this category tragically. He knows that he doesn’t have any property papers to his name, and yet he keeps vetoing my uncle and all his decisions for the building. The said neighbor stopped our mode of income for my retired mother, he takes unilateral decisions despite being a ghost co-owner, many buyers say that they refuse to engage with the building if that stupid co-owner is part of their deal. He has been chargesheeted in nearly 4 or 5 criminal cases. Very recently, he ordered for the rebuilding of our ground floor shop area without even asking my uncle, and he landed up damaging the whole ground and first floor areas of the building knowing fully well that the building is already teetering. He has resurfaced once again proclaiming that he is a separate single owner of the entire building. He has repaired and renovated several rooms even when the building has already been warned by some MHADA officials presently. And recently, ever so suddenly, he staked a claim in the shares of the 2nd building also, bribing the judges to award him a 50% co-ownership.

I have no idea where my friend, who is not even a real friend, got the idea that she can stake a claim in the shares of our building. She acts like she is more entitled than even my mother and me. Every time we meet, she hugs me passionately and one-sidedly- could she be gay or LGBT? Her ruinous boyfriends are just the same- they were warned to stay away by the cops, but they refuse to back down or stop involving me in all their shady dealings.

I have a friend who we call for to run some errands around the home, and she is so smitten that she just can’t control her emotions for mum and me. And most recently, my bro in law just blew the lid over his vernacular medium education signaling to us that their whole family is SC/ST or even OBC. I wish that we could extricate my cousins (brother and sister) away from their deathly strangle-hold but it might be too late already.
