My mum used to be a brilliant athlete in her hey days, so every time an Indian wins a medal, she feels really proud and happy. As such, she always keeps following India’s medal tallies at the Olympics, the Common Wealth Games and the Asian Games whenever they are held all across the world most doggedly. She was and still is also very interested in watching all our country’s cricket matches year after year most enthusiastically.
At the 20th Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, China finished first in the final medal standings with 341 total medals. We came in fourth with a medal tally of 85 medals in all extremely brilliantly. All our Indian athletes have worked really hard to improve their speed and stamina over the years resulting in the huge overhaul of gold, silver and bronze medals this year in the Asian Games with utmost pride and responsibility.
