Every year we Indians celebrate being free from the overrule of an Imperial Monarchy that is still ruling over the economic fates of the rest of the world in a tightly held financial monopoly. The pound always keeps pounding the Indian rupee and nearly everyone all over the world has done nothing to change this terrible reality- not in the least our expatriate citizens who are mocked at, ridiculed and hated and yet, they still want to remain abroad and endure there persistently.
So, what is the way out of this complex identity crisis that many Indians just don’t want to accept, acknowledge or act upon decisively? They would rather remain ambiguous, all full of distrust and still do nothing at all about it.
Could this collective unintended negligence be attributed to our joint Indian effort to fight back and resist all their manipulative and exploitative tactics internally? Or should we just sit back and rest and allow them to rule, fool and overrule all our personal and social idiosyncrasies?
The best thing would be to unite and interdepend on each other entirely. That is something that we can learn to do from the global Islamic races that have managed to remain unaffected by all their ‘be modern, be western’ maneuvers aimed only at their races’ special benefits and profits fiscally.
