I come from an orthodox Hindu family that still believes in all its rituals and festivals quite rigidly. We celebrate Holi, Diwali and Navratri almost every year ritually. Apart from that, what my family has taught me is the importance of the presence of a Guru in your life much more than family and a husband or boyfriend to put it quite simply.
These are the 4 spiritual giants that I have taken shelter under most of my life most appropriately.
My spiritual journey took me to none other than the most celebrated postmodern Geeta specialist Sw Chinmayanandaji- he was and still is one of the best proponents of Advaita and Vedanta of the Hindu pedagogy. My teachings took me further deep into the art of Hindu philosophy- Swami Anubhavanandaji was a superb follower of the Krishna sect of Dualism belonging to the Vaishnav cult of Hindu theosophy.
Apart from these 2 seasoned scholarly stalwarts, my studies brought me to the other most studied of them, Swami Chidanandaji, known for his online lectures and webinars on the Advaita school of thought all too popularly.
The best amongst all these gems of Advaita Vedanta remains Sw Tejomayananda Saraswati, who belongs to the Chinmaya Mission and is a champion of the Epic Ramayan and whose Ishta is none other than the supremely idealist king, father and husband, Shri Vishnu Ramvtarji.
My life as a student of Chemistry was incomplete without my gurus and all that they had to teach me ever so graciously. I am now an established journalist and author of several books and blogs belonging to Hindu philosophy.
I owe a large part of my personal success to these 4 Hindu scholars and saints beyond any comparison to any other living being present in the universe currently.
